1. You Don't Have Enough Time

If you're running out the door in the morning, try preparing your breakfast the night before. Overnight oats are a simple and healthy option that will keep you fuller longer. Just add your favorite brand of rolled oats with milk and let them sit overnight. Add more variety to this basic combo by throwing in you're favorite toppings! This will save you tons of time in the morning and provide you with a nutritious way to start your day.

2. You aren’t Hungry When You Wake Up

If you have 8ams every day of the week, motivating yourself to eat a filling breakfast can be a challenge. Bringing a protein bar, a piece of fruit or even dry cereal is better than having nothing at all. If you skip breakfast, you run the risk of becoming hungry earlier in the day. Try a smoothie, which is a quick and portable breakfast you can bring to class. My favorite smoothie is with blueberries, peanut butter, spinach and ice. Blend it up and enjoy!

3. You are Bored with Breakfast Foods

If you are finding yourself eating the same thing each day and you are starting to get bored, try switching it up. Swap your usual breakfast, for a either a sweeter or more savory option. When I am looking for a sweeter change, I have some coconut milk yogurt and pile it high with fruit and nuts as toppings. For a savory option, try toast with nut butter or avocado.
