If you're like me, you can never remember when the Caf closes on weekends (or where to find food after you miss it). Or maybe when you want a quick snack, you just don't know where to go. Luckily, I've done my research and compiled an easy-to-read overview of all the on-campus cafés at Biola. Whether you're on the go or down to relax, there's an eatery for every mood and occasion.

(More information about daily menus and times can be found on Bon Appétit's website.)

As Biola's only official dining hall, the Caf is probably your main experience with food here. With dedicated staff and a unique menu, it serves up variety and reliability.

Menu: Buffet-style meals such as sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and stir-fry. Drinks and desserts are also included.

The Soaring Eagle

The Soaring Eagle is Biola's very own food truck, located just outside of Sutherland. Recently, its focus has shifted to healthy eating — so while it may not be the greasy food truck grub you've been craving, it offers a light and flavorful snack or meal.

Menu: Tacos with beef, grilled fish, tofu or chicken and custom-order fries. (They no longer serve rice and noodle dishes.) Hours:

- Monday to Thursday: 11:30 a.m. — 7 p.m.

- Friday: 11:30* a.m. — 2 p.m.

Price range: $1 — $3 per taco

Heritage Café

Heritage Café is connected to the library, making it the perfect place for brain food. They serve various coffees and healthy drinks here, with the only actually-fresh fruit smoothies available on campus. (Even non-health-nuts will appreciate the sweet Wild smoothie!) Menu: Coffee, fresh juices/smoothies, acai and yogurt bowls, Grab 'n' Go options

Blackstone Café

Blackstone Café is a bit of a hidden gem and my personal favorite. Tucked into the side of Blackstone Hall, it's a long walk for lower campus dwellers — but in my opinion, it's well worth it for its unique and filling flavors.

Menu: Coffee/tea, hot breakfast foods, poke bowl, shave ice, crepes and a mini grocery store
