As Valentine's Day rolls around every year, I feel an acute attention being paid to my love life. My "status" as taken, single, or its complicated changes every Valentine's Day, but one thing stays constant: my desire for sugary treats. I tend to lean towards savory over sweet, but every Valentine's Day, I crave a box full of chocolate. Here are some Valentine's Day treats at Target that I won't be missing out on this year.

1. Valentine's Champagne & Rosè Flavored Cotton Candy

That's a thing? Thank God for whoever was placed on this planet to think of all things champagne and rosè-flavored. Move away from the champagne gummy bears, those are so last Valentine's Day. Step aside gummy bears, champagne cotton candy is about to take over and a whole bin is only $2.99.

2. Archer Farm's Valentine's Monster Trail Mix

Archer Farms is coming in clutch with a treat that's chocolate-y, peanut buttery, and salty. One bag is only $5.99 and comes with cute, individually packaged trail mixes. If you still like to hand out Valentine's to your friends like the good old days in grade school, this is a great, more mature option. Send me one, please!

3. Valentine's Heart Shaped Cast Iron Skillet With Brownie Mix

If you're planning a romantic, homemade dinner with your significant other, the perfect gift is this heart-shaped skillet for $7.59. Give it to your lover with a little note telling them about your dinner plans and make the brownie together at the end of the night. So, I just gave you your Valentine's Day plans—you're welcome.

4. Project 7 Valentine's Party Mix Gummies

Show your significant other that you're not basic. Rather than reaching for the red, heart-shaped box of chocolates, go for Godiva's cake and cookie inspired boxed chocolates. Some flavors include red velvet, chocolate lava cake, and sugar cookie (yum), and it's only $14.99.

8. Hershey's Cupcake Kisses

These Kisses will suffice if you're single af and have no one to get real kisses from this Valentine's Day. If you finish a whole bag of Cupcake Kisses for $3.59, your stomachache will probably make you forget how single you are.

9. Lindt Lindor Red Velvet White Chocolate Truffles

Red Skittles are the best—don't try to deny that fact. Well, every Valentine's Day, you've got the opportunity to get a bag of Skittles filled with majority red Skittles. The mix is pink, white, and red, and they're only $2.50.

Single or taken, your mouth is probably watering right now. Head over to Target to pick up your treats, and try not to get too distracted by the home decor aisles (and everything else).
