From afar, Hollywood has no flaws. The sky seems bluer, the streets are occupied by Fendi and Prada, and the homes are owned by the world's biggest and favorite movie stars. What's not to obsess about? Well, as a matter of fact, if you look a little harder, Hollywood isn't just lights, camera, action, flawless.

Under "all the glitz, and the glam, and the fashion," some celebs struggle with an occasional zit, an awkward moment on the red carpet, and of course, bad breath—just like any other normal human being. Even though it's completely natural, bad breath isn't something you can notice from watching through a screen. Using research from celebrity website,—here's the dirt on nine celebrities that you wouldn't believe are rumored to have bad breath.

1. Ben Affleck

Rumors of Ben Affleck having bad breath have been going around for years. Yet, at some point, someone comes along and takes one for the team to see if the rumors are true. According to Sandra Bullock, kissing scenes with her co-star on the set of The Telegraph and Forces of Nature wasn't easy. Poor guy just needs a breath mint!

2. Jennifer Lawrence

Oh hell yes, J-Law. Unfortunately, her Hunger Games co-star, Liam Hemsworth, confirms that Jennifer Lawrence battles a case of bad breath. However, on the bright side, the two A-list actors joke around about it, leading up to Jennifer purposefully eating smelly foods before their kissing scenes together.

3. Britney Spears

Britney's bad breath isn't tied to reasons like poor dental hygiene or tobacco use; it is sadly a symptom of fad dieting. Between her diets, Britney doesn't consume the needed 1,600-2,400 calories that grown adults need daily. Instead, the 600 calories she consumes per day is really taking a toll on her body and bringing her body some unfortunate consequences, such as bad breath.

4. Lamar Odom

In the words of Kim Kardashian, Lamar's bad breath makes her want to "throw up in her mouth." While Kimmy K has a whole lot to say about Odom's icky breath, other Kardashian in-laws have also mentioned that Lamar's bad breath has made it hard to get physically close to him in the past. With the amount of money that family could rally up, you'd think someone could do something to cure his poor dental hygiene.

5. Jason Segal

The moral of Jason Segal's combat against bad breath is DON'T SMOKE. After being addicted to smoking cigarettes, his nonsmoking onstage wife of How I Met Your Mother, Alyson Hannigan, wouldn't include herself in their own kissing scenes until he promised her that he would quit smoking. How romantic...

6. Johnny Depp

It's not a secret his shabby, rotten vibe in Pirates of the Carribean is visible in his day to day look. Simply, showering doesn't seem to be his forte.

7. Angelina Jolie

Take one guess as to what, now ex-husband, Brad Pitt once gave Angelina Jolie for Valentine's Day. You guessed it—breath mints. While the V-day gift was sort of an inside joke between the two Hollywood hotties, it's safe to say that Brad Pitt was subtly trying to hint at something NOT so hot.

8. Jessica Simpson

Although blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson always looks put together, with the white teeth and nice hair, we can't be fooled because she sometimes forgets to brush her teeth. According to ABC News, Simpson slipped that she might only brush her teeth two or three times A WEEK, simply because she isn't a fan of the "slippery feeling when they're super clean." I have some advice for Mrs. Simpson—get over it.

9. Hugh Grant

Lastly, comes the one and only, Hugh Grant, who if you care to believe it, was literally handed mouthwash at The Academy Awards because his fellow A-listers couldn't deal with his bad breath any longer. Would you rather be given a bottle of mouthwash or an Oscar award? Hmm... that's a tough one.

So, for those of who whose hearts go out to these Hollywood hotties and heartthrobs, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news... and bad breath. I'd advise that you not see this as a disappointment or an end to your dreams of lip-locking with Johnny Depp or Angelina Jolie, but to acknowledge the fact that while celebrities seem all dazzling and perfect, in the end, they're just like us.
