Eating vegan is definitely different from the standard American diet, but with help from the many online resources available, it’s something completely within reach. When I first transitioned to a vegan lifestyle, I needed some help thinking of ideas for my daily meals and snacks. I'm also a huge baker and I didn't want that to stop when I went transitioned into my new lifestyle. In our world surrounded by the Internet, I didn't have as hard of a time as I thought I would. Vegan food blogs truly helped me through my vegan adventure.

The blogs below helped keep me on my vegan lifestyle. Each of them has a seemingly infinite amount of vegan meals, snacks, desserts, drinks, and so much more. Each one has many tips for newbies to the vegan food scene. 1. Minimalist Baker

Minimalist Baker is my absolute favorite blog and I have shared it with so many that have wanted to start eating vegan or gluten-free. This is my go-to for everything. It's great for meal-planning since the creator has recipe categories for all meals of the day.

2. hot for food

hot for food is known for their unique creations using ingredients you already have in your kitchen. This blogger is also very popular on YouTube. Her challenges and "recipe?!" series embody these ideas and are seriously great inspo for everyday lunches or holiday cooking.

3. Love and Lemons

I love the look of this vegan food blog. Love and Lemons has many aesthetically pleasing pictures. All the food photos are clean and bright; we all do truly eat with our eyes. There's lots of variation on this blog, from appetizers to seasonal favorites.

4. Chocolate Covered Katie

As the name gives away, this blog is all about the sweets. I would recommend checking this blog out if you want some super simple baked goods. She has lots of cookies, brownies, and breads.

5. Oh She Glows

If you've looked into the vegan lifestyle even just slightly, you've probably stumbled over the Oh She Glows blog or Instagram. This site is immensely popular, and for good reason. It has a huge range of family-friendly recipes, perfect for moms or dads in a rush.

Favorite: Irresistible Trail Mix Cookies

6. Avant-Garde Vegan

This blog is getting more and more popular as we speak. Avant-Garde Vegan focuses on "veganizing" classic meals and food favorites, like filet-o-fish (pictured above), KFC chick'n sandwich, and key lime pie. The creator just recently published his cookbook, filled with recipes just of the sort.

7. Vanilla and Bean

Vanilla and Bean blog has a beautiful, rustic look. The blog has sub-sections for vegetarian and vegan recipes, so again this blog lots of options for lots of different appetites. The creator takes flawless, perfectly positioned shots of her just as flawless treats, so head over there for some sweet snacks.

8. From My Bowl

From My Bowl is run by a girl who is fresh out of college, showing that success does not depend on age. From My Bowl promotes simplicity, and clean, well-rounded meals. I would recommend this vegan food blog's super simple dressing and sauce recipes, too.

9. Sweet Simple Vegan 

Focusing on oil-free recipes, Sweet Simple Vegan is another favorite vegan food blog for everyday meals. They put together lots of salads, Buddha bowls, and even some vegan twists on classics, like potato casserole and spinach artichoke dip.

Favorite: Loaded Chickpea Omelette

10. The First Mess

I've recently stumbled upon this vegan food and wellness blog, and it has become one I visit regularly. The food photography on this blog is absolutely stunning and her central message is to eat for your well-being.

11. The Big Man's World

Known for their no-bake treats, The Big Man's World is an online heaven for anyone searching for an easy dessert. Most recipes have very minimal ingredients, which is an added bonus.

Favorites: No-bake Peanut Butter Cup Breakfast Bars

12. It's Liv B

One of my go-to blogs for sure. Liv specializes in lazy day meals that are made in just a few minutes. Her recipe for vegan chocolate chip cookies is the one and only cookie recipe I depend on.

13. Chef Chloe

Creator of byChloe, a booming vegan restaurant in cities across the country, Chef Chloe runs a blog filled with recipes that are just plain fun, like her homemade Vegan Goldfish Crackers.

14. Hazel & Cacao

Hazel & Cacao highlights the beauty of rustic cooking and baking. The photos on this blog are delightfully clean and woodsy. They focus on a lot of gluten-free recipes using alternative flours.

I really hope this compilation gave you some veggie inspiration and some baking ideas so you can get back in the kitchen. These are just my favorites that I've found most suitable for my life and eating habits, but there are thousands more vegan food blogs out there.
