Summer is officially here, which means we can finally use our favorite adage appropriately, “Sun’s out, guns out.” How do you get those toned bro-tank ready guns though? Lots and lots of greens – that’s how.

A green monster smoothie is the best way to get your daily dose of fruits and vegetables, plus an added bonus of protein to keep you full and energized. Head over to your grocery store and pick up some fresh ingredients for this easy-to-make, healthy recipe that will keep you strong all summer long.

Green Monster Smoothie

    Take out frozen ingredients and place in blender.

    Note: The banana should be frozen overnight.

    Slice avocado in half and remove pit. Scoop into blender.

    Add spinach, yogurt, and pineapple juice to the blender.

    Choose light to medium power setting and blend until smooth.
