You almost finished your jar of peanut butter. There’s not enough to make a great peanut butter jelly sandwich, but too much to throw the jar away. We’ve all been there. Don’t worry though, we’ve got a solution for you: overnight oatmeal in the almost empty peanut butter jar. Not only does it make the oatmeal all creamy, but you have less dishes to do too.
All the ingredients used in this recipe are nutritious too. Oatmeal can actually help boost the immune system due to the beta glucans. If you choose to use it, unsweetened almond milk is a creamy alternative to milk that doesn’t add any sugar, but still adds hints of flavor. Peanut butter is a heart healthy fat since it contains monounsaturated fats. Cinnamon is packed with antioxidants. Stevia is a great sweetener alternative that won’t raise the blood sugar, but also full of harmful chemicals like other sweetener alternatives. Lastly, Greek yogurt can help promote a healthy gut due to the probiotics found in it.
