How to Make Hasselback Cinnamon Apples

As the seasons begin to change and the temperatures drop, this bomb-ass Hasselback cinnamon apple recipe will warm you right up. The combo of the warm baked apples with crunchy granola and cinnamon sugar is so easy to make it can’t be beat.

Enjoy it on top of your oatmeal in the morning or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.

    Cut in half, core, and make small incisions in two apples.

    Combine half of the brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Microwave for 15 seconds.

  3. Baked Apples 1

    Brush mixture over each apple in a square greased baking dish. Cover with tin foil and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes.

  4. Baked Apples 2

    Combine the rest of the brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Add granola to the mixture and spoon mixture into the apple incisions. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.
