I like to impress people, but I’m also willing to admit that I’m pretty lazy. So when it’s my friend’s birthday or I’m going to some sort of event that requires a food item, I’ve gotta find the perfect thing to bring that both impresses but requires minimal effort.
That’s where this cake comes in. Just buy a box of ice cream sandwiches and a tub of Cool Whip and get your stack on. In this version I got fancy by adding caramel sauce and sea salt because even though I’m a lazy ass, I still keep it classy.

Instructions
Place three ice cream sandwiches on the bottom of a non-stick tray.
Drizzle caramel and sea salt on top.
Repeat step 1 and 2 until you have 4 layers of ice cream sandwiches, switching direction with each layer.
Freeze for 10 minutes if your cake begins to melt.
Cut the sides of your cake to create uniform edges.
Cover your cake with Cool Whip. Decorate with extra caramel drizzle and sea salt. Enjoy.
Cut the cake into squares and look at those layers. Hayyy.
