Healthy Pesto Garlic Pasta

Ingredients:
1 cup basil
1 cup spinach
1/3 cup walnuts
2-3 cloves garlic
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper

Directions:
1. Mince garlic by hand or with a food processor.
2. If you do have a food processor, add in the rest of the ingredients and process until smooth. If you don’t have a food processor, use a blender or the classic mortar and pestle. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Serve with pasta, as a spread on a sandwich, or even with grilled cheese.

Store in an air-tight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week, or freeze and use within 3-4 months.
