No-Yeast Cinnamon Rolls

    Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter
  • Dental floss

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease a 8×8 baking pan and set aside.

  • Step 2

    Combine first four ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix until well combined. Set aside.

  • Step 3

    Combine flour, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Combine thoroughly. Set aside.

  • Step 4

    In a small bowl, mix together yogurt, milk, and the 2 tablespoons melted butter until smooth. Pour liquid mixture into dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.

  • Step 5

    Dump out dough onto a floured surface. Dust more flour on top of dough. Roll dough out into a rectangle that measures approximately 10×12 inches.

    #SpoonTip: Complete this step with floured hands. The dough will be super sticky.

  • Step 6

    Spread prepared cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over rolled-out dough.

  • Step 7

    Taking shorter end of dough, roll dough into a log. Use a strand of dental floss to slice log into 9 individual rolls.

    Place rolls into greased pan. Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 degrees. Bake for additional 10 to 15 minutes until tops just start to slightly brown.

    Top with 2-ingredient cream cheese frosting.
