Add 8 ounce cream cheese to a mixing bowl and mix until smooth. Spoon tip: A saucepan works if you donât have a mixing bowl.
Add peanut butter, sugar and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Fold in 8 ounce of Cool Whip until just mixed. (Itâs okay if there are a few small clumps of Cool Whip.)
Fill pie crust with peanut butter, Cool Whip mixture.
Melt chocolate chips. Spoon tip: Put the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30 second increments until melted.
Add 4 ounces or 1 cup of Cool Whip to melted chocolate and mix well.
Spread chocolate and Cool Whip mixture over pie.
Place in freezer for at least 3 hours.
Remove from freezer and enjoy! Spoon tip: If the pie is too rich for you, add a dollop of Cool Whip to mellow the taste.
