These Margarita Ice Pops Will Keep You Boozy and Cool This Summer

The sun is shining, school is out, and we’re all ready for a summer of beaching and barbecues. But no summer shindig is complete without a generous amount of alcohol. So, why not switch out your Fudgsicles for something a little stronger. Try these margarita popsicles for a summer dessert trifecta: sweet, refreshing, and oh so boozy.

Margarita Ice Pops

    In a pitcher, combine lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, water, tequila and orange juice.

    Fill Dixie cups nearly all of the way with the mixture, leaving about ½ inch space.

  3. Slice limes into ¼ inch slices.

  4. Push popsicle sticks through limes so lime is on the middle of the stick.

    Place sticks in mixture. Make sure limes sit directly on top of the liquid.

  6. Freeze for at least six hours, or overnight.

  7. Peel Dixie cups off frozen popsicles.

    Sprinkle tops with kosher salt and get boozy.
