Homemade Pop-Tarts
Ingredients
Instructions
Roll out your pie crust and cut a big square out of the center. Then, cut that square in half. You should have 2 rectangles of pie crust. If you cut two pie crusts, then you should have 4 rectangles.
Spread about 1 teaspoon of jam on one half of each rectangle. Make sure to leave about an inch of space around the edges.
Fold each rectangle in half, covering the jam. Then, crimp the edges shut with a fork.
Bake them in the oven (or toaster oven) at 425°F for 7-8 minutes, or until golden brown.
In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and sprinkles. Yes, making frosting is really that easy.
Take the warm pop-tarts out and let them cool. Then, frost them with any design your heart desires and enjoy a bite of your childhood.
