Make Healthy Pancakes With Just 3 Simple Ingredients

Some mornings you just NEED a stack of pancakes as soon as you wake up, whether as a celebratory treat or a way to start off your day pumped and ready to take over the world. While all the sugary, carby goodness of pancakes is totally okay to chow down on every once and a while, check out the easier and healthier recipe below to satisfy your craving.

Oatmeal Pancakes

  1. Turn the stove on to medium heat and spray a pan with non-stick spray or coconut oil.

    In a medium sized bowl mash up the banana.

    Add the egg and stir together.

    Once mixed, add the oats and stir until thoroughly mixed into a nice batter.

  5. Using a ladle or large spoon, scoop the batter and pour into an even circle in the pan.

  6. Wait until the bottom starts to look firm and well cooked before flipping.

  7. When both sides are thoroughly cooked put on a plate and garnish with a pinch of cinnamon or fruit for flavor.

    Place berries into a saucepan and cover with ½ cup of sugar.

    Add 1/2 cup water.

  3. Bring to a rolling boil.

  4. Reduce heat to medium-low for 10-12 minutes.

  5. (Optional)

    Stir in a splash of natural vanilla extract for flavor.
