How To Make Homemade Fruit By The Foot

It seems as if we’ve began the age of childhood favorites recipes. Everyday is now #ThrowbackThursday, and the masses are going crazy over recipes like Dunkaroo Dip. As great as most of these throwbacks are, they’re not so healthy.

That’s where this homemade Fruit By The Foot recipe comes in to save the day. It’s healthier for you because it’s not filled with artificial ingredients and scary things ending in -ose. The best part is you can experiment with the recipe and use any fruit you want.

The recipe below uses plastic wrap (which will not melt in an oven at the specified heat), but if you’re afraid of that or think you’ll get the plastic stuck in the fruit, feel free to use a silicone baking mat.
