Thai Basil Beef Hand Pies
Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F or according to your puff pastry instructions.
Roll out the puff pastry dough and cut into 4 squares.
#SpoonTip: Feel free to cut the dough into smaller squares for finger food.
Beat the egg in a bowl and dab the outer edge of the puff pastry with the egg wash.
Fill half of the square of puff pastry with the ground beef.
#SpoonTip: Be sure not to place beef on the egg wash edge.
Fold in half and use a fork to crimp the edges. Finish the hand pie with an egg wash and some incisions on the top to allow steam to escape.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve.
