Japan has a serious love affair with Kit Kats (the country sells a zillion flavors like strawberry cheesecake, purple sweet potato, and wasabi that aren’t offered in the States), but when Japan’s largest coffeehouse Pronto launched Kit Kat croissants, the entire world took notice.

Each Kit Kat croissant contains two Kit Kats (milk chocolate, matcha, or white chocolate) baked into a flaky croissant and topped with powdered sugar. What’s incredible is that the treat only costs 180 yen (less than $2).

While you may not be able to venture to Japan anytime soon, we took the liberty of re-creating this insanely delicious-looking hybrid using Kit Kats and crescent dough. See the original Kit Kat croissants down below and watch the video to try the hack at home.

#SpoonTip: Matcha Kit Kats are available at some Walgreens and online.
