Finding the perfect cookie recipe is tough. How much sugar should you add? Should you use brown sugar or white sugar? Both? Should the butter be melted? Should you use cake flour? The variations are endless.

However, one ingredient no one ever suggests adding to cookies is ice cream. After making these cookies, people will be fanatic about adding ice cream to their cookie batter. Mark my words, the ice cream cookie is here to stay.

Ben and Jerry's Cookies

    Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate chip cookie mix + necessary ingredients (eggs, butter, vanilla, etc.)
  • 1 cup Ben and Jerry's Everything but the... ice cream
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chip
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 package Reese's
  • 1/2 cup anything else you want
  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2

    Make the cookie dough according to the package directions.

  • Step 3

    Chop the almonds.

  • Step 4

    Add as much ice cream as you’d like (we added 1 cup).

  • Step 5

    Add everything else and mix.

  • Step 6

    Scoop the mixture onto a cookie sheet.

  • Step 7

    Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes.

  • Step 8

    Let cookies cool and then stuff ’em with tons of ice cream to make epic ice cream sandwiches.
