With midterm season just around the corner, it’s easy to feel completely overwhelmed. And what’s the best cure for school-related stress? Trying a new restaurant, of course! If you’re lucky enough to be a student in Ann Arbor, there’s more than enough new places to get your grub on. Here’s 4 new AA restaurants you must try ASAP:
The Haymaker Public House
Haymaker Public House is the perfect place for a hefty, filling meal. With menu items like burgers, sausages, and even a 1lb pretzel, this is definitely a post game day kind of place.
Smoke’s Poutinerie
Smoke’s Poutinerie is a Canadian restaurant chain that recently opened a restaurant in Ann Arbor. They’re famous for Poutine which is essentially the perfect college kid food. Each Poutine has different toppings, but they all come with hand-cut fries, cheese curds, their signature gravy. With its location on South U, I have a feeling this place is going to become a student favorite.
First Bite
Located on Main Street, First Bite is a new healthy eatery with many vegan friendly options. The menu has everything from burgers to wraps to bowls to salads. First Bite’s philosophy is based on the concept of “Food 4.0”. You can read more about this cool concept on their website.
DROUGHT
If you’re a juice fan, this place is a must try. They sell organic cold-pressed raw juice that are perfect for your Snapchat or Instagram story.
Of course, go to the classic restaurants when you get back to school. Zingerman’s, Pizza House, Angelo’s. But also make sure you try some of these new, unique eateries. Because, hey, in twenty years, these restaurants may be the classics.
