It’s Officially Slurpee Season At 7-Eleven

7-Eleven is known for its iconic Slurpees. Seriously, nothing complements a summer day better than an ice-cold flavorful Slurpee. With the weather getting warmer and summer getting closer, it’s time to start sipping on Slurpees again. What better way to enjoy your Slurpee than with your own “cup”? 7-Eleven just announced the return of Bring Your Own Cup Day, taking place on Saturday, April 13.  

What is Bring Your Own Cup Day?

It’s basically the best day ever for Slurpee lovers.

For only $1.99, you can bring in any container of your choosing to fill with a delicious 7-Eleven Slurpee. Of course, it has to be able to fit under the Slurpee dispenser, which is about 10 inches, but other than that, there’s really no restriction to what constitutes a cup. Your cup should be leakproof, so don’t just come with the plan of filling up your backpack.

What are some things to use as a cup?

I say go big or go home. Grab that giant storage container and march on over to 7-Eleven on April 13.

Realistically, that probably wouldn’t fit. A large water bottle or your Stanley cup would work, though. If you’re feeling more creative, you can use things like trophies, helmets, shoes, and buckets.

Last year, TikTok user @pattalinaeats used a blender and a large juice container to get as much Slurpee as possible. I have to say, that’s a great idea.

What flavors can you get?

The classic flavors, including Coca-Cola, Pina Colada, Blue Raspberry, and Cherry will be available. The best would be a Coca-Cola and Cherry mix, creating a Cherry Coke flavor (yes, I am biased). It always hits the spot on a hot summer day, and will taste even better when it’s in a huge “cup.” If you’re feeling even more adventurous, you can try 7-Eleven’s limited-edition flavors, Chili Mango and Fanta Dragonfruit Zero.
