Honey Mustard Pringles Are Back & We Tried Them

There’s no shortage of snackable Pringles flavors, like BBQ, sour cream and onion, and salt and vinegar. But there is one flavor in particular that Pringles fans have been begging to make a return: honey mustard. A discontinued snack flavor is worse than heartbreak, and oftentimes they don’t make a return — for me, it’s Lays’ Cheddar Bacon Mac N’ Cheese. But after two years, honey mustard Pringles are making a comeback, and we’re just as excited as we were when Taylor Swift announced her new album.

How long will they be available?

According to the brand, honey mustard was the most requested flavor back in the past two years, with thousands taking to social media to reach the brand directly. “Our die-hard fans’ efforts paid off and the delicious tangy and subtly sweet Pringles Honey Mustard crisps are returning to shelves. . . for good!” Mauricio Jenkins, the U.S. Marketing lead for Pringles, said.

What do they taste like?

Luckily, we got to try the honey mustard flavor, and it’s good. If you are a fan of honey mustard pretzels, the kind coated with the flavored powder that sticks to your fingers, then you will love these. The Pringles have that same powder but the flavor is a little more toned down.

When and where can I buy them?

Honey Mustard Pringles were originally launched back in 2008 as a limited edition flavor, but people loved them so much that the flavor stuck around until being quietly discontinued in 2022. The seasonings on these crisps have notes of paprika and garlic, with a forward tangy mustard flavor, and a hint of honey sweetness.

Yesterday, Pringles posted a meme hinting at the flavor’s return. The specific flavor was scribbled out, but the golden packaging that symbols all things honey mustard was a pretty big hint. However, fans continued speculating in the comments, guessing flavors like “ketchup and mustard,” “chicken and gravy,” “french fry,” and “cheeseburger.” Today, Pringles officially announced that the new (or returning) flavor was honey mustard, and fans were quite pleased.

The Honey Mustard flavored potato crisps will be available immediately in stores. Pringles also has a feature on its website where you can find a store near you that sells them. There’s something about the curvy, cracker-like texture of a Pringle that makes them one of the most addicting potato chips. I’ll take them in as many flavors as they come.
