As a huge fan of the Scream franchise and finding joy in the kitchen, it’s a no-brainer that I needed to create a pie to resemble the famous Ghostface. I ended up choosing a blueberry pie to give off the impression it’s his black cloth material costume, but next time, a cranberry or strawberry pie might be interesting to make to give off a bloody killer pie.
Lock your doors, grab a knife, and cue up one of the Scream movies to defend yourself from this deadly pie.
Ghostface Blueberry Pie
Ingredients
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F, and while the oven heats up, mix the sugar cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl. Next, you’ll want to mix in the blueberries.
Line your pie dish with one premade pie crust and pour the berry mixture into the dish on the pie crust.
Take the second premade pie crust and cut out Ghostface’s eyes, mouth, and nose. Then, place Ghostface’s pie crust face on top of your berry mixture in the dish, and crimp and flute the edges to have both pie crusts connected.
If you want more of a liquidy-gooey pie, dot the pie with butter over the openings. Now melt your remaining butter, mix with the remaining cinnamon, and brush the new mixture on top of the pie crust.
Place your pie in the oven on the lowest rack for 45 minutes. Once it’s fully baked, let it cool down at room temperature for 30 minutes and enjoy.
