Or maybe you are hesitant about what to do with the big bag of kale sitting in your refrigerator? Here are 5 kale recipes that require less than 4 ingredients. Read more to create the perfect kale snack to munch on during your Zoom meetings or sports games. You can make these recipes for lunch, dinner, or after a workout!

1. Kale Chips 

If you are a fan of Lay’s potato chips or any chip brand, you must give this a try. You can buy prepackaged Kale at your local grocery store or Whole Foods to create your own Kale Chips in the oven using extra virgin olive oil and salt. Here’s a recipe on how to make kale chips

2. Kale Caesar Salad

If you love Sweet Green and want a quick pick-me-up, you can create your own Kale Caesar Salad. This meal is a great source of antioxidants and calcium.

To start: Add 1 cup of kale to a colander and wash it off. Then, you can add freshly grated parmesan cheese, caesar dressing, oregano bread croutons made from a skillet, and any other toppings!

3. Sweet and Savory Sautéed Kale

Are you looking for a recipe with your bag of kale that is both sweet and savory? Try sautéed kale with raisins and pine nuts. All you need is Trader Joe’s kale, olive oil, salt, pine nuts, and raisins. The kale snack is an excellent source of fiber and Vitamin K.

To start: sauté the kale in a skillet, add olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Then, top it off with raisins and pine nuts. For more flavor add squeezed lemon. Enjoy this gourmet healthy meal at your socially distanced holiday party.

4. Kale Caesar Wrap

If you miss Chop’t wraps and don’t want to wait for delivery services or worried about getting coronavirus, toss up your own healthy snack and make a Kale Caesar Wrap.

To start: cut up and massage the kale, mix in the Caesar dressing, grill or microwave your tortilla, and add any other toppings. Finally, put it all together and wrap it up! For more flavor add cheese and a squeezed lemon.

5. Kale Smoothie or Protein Shake

In a rush to jump on your virtual conference call or coming back from a workout, create yourself a perfect detox smoothie or a protein shake. This is an excellent source of antioxidants. The snack lowers your cholesterol which reduces your risk of heart disease.

To start: You can add some frozen berries, a handful of kale, protein powder, oats, a tablespoon of chia seeds, banana, and oat milk. This is a nice meal you can eat after a run as a meal replacement for a Jamba Juice Smoothie!
