Where to Eat Vegan in Denver if You Only Have 24 Hours

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at CC chapter.

With a limited diet and hundreds of restaurants in Denver, it can often be overwhelming when deciding where to eat. The good news is, we’ve narrowed down the options to the top vegan places in Denver you should try if you only have 24 hours

VooDoo Doughnuts – Broadway

The world-famous VooDoo Doughnuts opened a new location in Denver this past summer! You can smell the sweetness from outside the store, and the smell gets even better when you go inside. This shop is open 24/7, so it makes the perfect breakfast or midnight snack! The entire bottom shelf is vegan, with dozens of different vegan options. This is definitely one of the top vegan spots in Denver! Check out their menu here

mu Denver

mu Denver is the perfect lunch spot on a cold day! It is a vegan food truck, often located outside of NOOCH Vegan Market in Denver. It specializes in ramen, but adds a unique twist to the dish, topping the ramen with popcorn tofu or vegan gyoza. This ramen might be the best ramen you’ve ever had, and definitely worthy of a visit even if you only have 24 hours to eat!

You can find mu Denver’s truck schedule here, and their menu here

Watercourse Foods

This vegan restaurant can beat any restaurant in Denver. With drinks people rave about for days, to a kid’s menu filled with favorites like mac ’n’ cheese and chicken nuggets, this entirely vegan restaurant has something for everyone. Watercourse Foods accommodates allergies and can even make gluten-free french toast!

#SpoonTip: 10/10 recommend the baked brie, which comes with toasted bread and jam. The Tamarind Street Noodles are also incredible.

NOOCH Vegan Market

Located just miles away from the University of Colorado, Denver, NOOCH serves as the perfect vegan spot to grab your favorite vegan snacks! From frozen vegan perogies to vegan nail polish, NOOCH Vegan Market truly has it all! I picked up some vegan candy, black salt (great for making tofu scrambles), and baking supplies. This is the perfect last stop before you head home.
