Waking up for an early morning class usually means there’s only enough time to grab something to eat fast before running out the door. This has led me to experiment with lots of different breakfast combinations that are as delicious as they are fast. Smoothies are the perfect way to eat a balanced breakfast and still make it out the door in time. Just throw the ingredients into a blender—or a magic bullet—and you’re done.
Smoothies are really simple to make and can easily be adjusted to fit your own preferences. If you like smoothies a bit thicker—add less liquid; sweeter—add more fruit; colder—add a handful of ice. So take these recipes as a template for making your own customized smoothies, and adapt them however you like!
