Cut up the broccoli into the size you desire and place all of the broccoli into a microwave-safe bowl.
Pour 2-3 tablespoons of water for every one pound of broccoli.
Cover the bowl and put it in the microwave on high for 2 minutes.
Check the broccoli’s texture after the 2 minutes. If it’s not soft enough to your liking, put it in for another 2 minutes.
Once done cooking, remove the lid CAREFULLY as steam will come up from bowl.
