4 Creative Ways to Make Hummus

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Chapel Hill chapter.

Hummus is a healthy snack and great party appetizer that can be paired with veggies, chips, or even eaten by the spoonful. While everyone is familiar with the classic hummus, adding and substituting ingredients makes the chickpea-based recipe extremely versatile.

In addition to its versatility, hummus is easy to throw together and takes minimal time. If you have a blender, NutriBullet, or food processor on hand, it can be made in as little as five minutes. Just measure out the ingredients, add them to the blender, and mix.

The following hummus recipes are just a few of the possible variations you can make.
