5 Facebook Food Pages To Make Your Timeline More Exciting

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at CSU chapter.

You’re scrolling through your Facebook timeline. You see a girl from high school complaining about her life. You scroll a little further. Your aunt is talking about her hip replacement. You realize that your Facebook isn’t as exciting as it use to be

If you’re looking for something to spruce up your timeline, there are some hidden gems in the Facebook-sphere that you may have never heard about. Facebook pages are like apps for your phone— there’s a page for everything. There’s even a Facebook page that’s called “Dear Pringles, I cannot fit my hand inside your tube of deliciousness.”

I took it upon myself to grace you with a few Facebook pages that will spice up your timeline with some goods.

1. Hot Dudes and Hummus – Israel’s Yummiest

I stumbled upon this page when I was scrolling through my Facebook timeline and saw that someone had liked it. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. “Hot Dudes and Hummus” spruces up your timeline with exactly what you would expect. All different kinds of hummus. Can’t go wrong with that.

2. Hot Guys, Good Food

Similar to “Hot Dudes and Hummus,” but “Hot Guys, Good Food” has pictures of cowboys with different kinds of desserts. So if hummus isn’t your thing and you enjoy desserts being placed next to or held by attractive, shirtless men and have a major sweet tooth, this one is for you.

3. Funny Food Art

Food art always amazes me. I wish I could get that creative. This page is run by a cute couple, Bill and Claire Wurtzel, and they’re actually pretty famous. They have a couple of books out about their food art and a how-to called Funny Food Made Easy. If you’re artistic and a major foodie, you’re probably going to be intrigued by this page.

4. Food Puns

You really can never go wrong with food puns. They’re horribly cheesy (pun intended). This Facebook page has puns for days. They will probably make you laugh, or at least chuckle, unless you have a black heart.

5. Daily Food Funnies

“Daily Food Funnies” has been around since 2011 and is still going strong. Like “Food Puns,” this page has pictures with food humor along with food puns. Pictures include one that has the caption, “My vegetarian friend getting a hunting photo…” with a man holding a shovel and a bunch of carrots. It’s a good page to follow when you need something simple to make you laugh.
