9 Places to Get Take Out For Valentine’s Day in Oxford, MS if You’re Single AF

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Ole Miss chapter.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.  For those of us that are terminally single for one reason or another, it is a day consumed by Netflix, wine, Taylor Swift, and takeout. Don’t worry my fellow single souls, we will get through this together.

Here is a definitive list of the best places to get takeout if you’re single AF:

1. El Agave

If anyone asks, I’m in a serious and committed relationship with cheese dip. I’m not even kidding. El Agave is, in MHO, the best Mexican food place in Oxford. The fact that Landshark delivers El Agave makes it so much better. You don’t even have to put on pants. #winning

2. South Depot

It’s hard to be sad that you’re single when you’re eating South Depot. Worst case scenario, there is no shame in crying into a quesadilla or hitting on your delivery driver. We can also thank Landshark for this one.

3. Oby’s

In a world where we still can’t listen to T.Swift on Spotify and the boys don’t call, we need some chips and rotel to get us through. Oby’s can also be delivered by Landshark.

4. Rice and Spice

Why cry from feelings when you can cry because your food is too spicy?

#SpoonTip: You can get a spice level about a 5, but they can’t have it on their menu for health risk.

5. Dodo Pizza

What more could you want than a hot pizza delivered directly to you doorstep? I would bet not much.  Dodo Pizza is also the hands down best pizza in Oxford.

6. Mugshots

Mugshots is the ultimate comfort food.  The only downside is that they don’t deliver. You have to physically put on pants and go get it yourself. However, it’s worth it.
