Apple Cottage Cheese Pancakes Sound Gross But Taste Great

I admit, these pancakes do sound nasty, but don’t judge the pancake by its name! Everyone who tries these pancakes licks their plate clean and apologizes for being turned off by the name. Be a little adventurous and try these pancakes that taste exactly like apple pie. 

Apple Cottage Cheese Pancakes

  1. Wash and grate the apples. If you prefer no skin, peel the apples first.

    Throughly mix together the grated apples, cottage cheese, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.

    Sift in the flour and baking powder.

    Butter a skillet or use a nonstick griddle and turn it on medium heat. Ladle about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet. Each side needs about 6 minutes to cook, or until it is slightly browned.
