Alright, I’ll just come out and say it: I’m still in a little bit of denial about summer ending. I know, I know, we’re like halfway through autumn already! Jackets are out! Leaves are falling! But what can I say? Change is hard.
Luckily, there’s a way to perfectly mesh the iconic flavors of fall with a healthy dash of summer influence. Sure, we’ve all tried a classic root beer float. If you’re from the midwest like me, maybe you’ve even tried a Vernor’s float, also known as a Boston Cooler. But both of those pale in comparison to my new concoction: Spiced Apple Cider Ice Cream Floats.
The drink perfectly combines fizzy seltzer, creamy ice cream and sweet and spicy cider in a way that convert a pumpkin spice fanatic any day.
