These Butter Popovers Will Satisfy Your 2 AM Carb Cravings

Bread and butter. What greater combination exists in the world? The marriage between slightly steaming, moist, and freshly baked bread with hints of butter in the crust and melting in your mouth. Sounds pretty lit, right? Go and buy your popover pan today so you can make these scrumptious butter popovers that will satisfy your 2 am carbohydrate cravings.

    Mix the flour, salt, and milk in a large mixing bowl. Whisk and mix until batter is smooth.

    Add the eggs and continue mixing the batter until smooth.

    Added the melted butter to the batter and keep on mixin’!

    Butter the popover pan so that the batter does NOT stick to the sides and the popovers can spill over the top without sticking and exploding everywhere.

    Pour the batter into the buttered popover pan and then bake at 350°F for 30-45 minutes.

    #SpoonTip: A really great way to make sure that your popovers are extra special and delicious is to cook them at different intervals at different temperatures. Start at 425°F and cook the batter for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to the standard 350ºF and cook for the rest of the time.
