If you’re an animal lover like me, your pets always come first, whether it’s buying them a new toy over a new pair of heels for yourself or even making them their own baked goods. My family and I will often throw birthday parties for our furry friends (and yes, other pets are invited), and they deserve a good cupcake too. In case your pet’s birthday is right around the corner or you’re just being a good dog mom, here’s a “pupcake” recipe that’ll make them drool.
PB & Carrots Dog Treat Cupcakes
Ingredients
Instructions
Gather all ingredients needed for the cupcakes and preheat your oven to 350°F.
Add your dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix together.
Add in the peanut butter, vegetable oil, chopped carrots, vanilla extract, honey, and egg and mix well.
Scoop your batter into cupcake tins.
Pop your cupcakes in the oven for about 14 min or until golden on the top.
To make the frosting, mash the bananas in a bowl and stir in the melted butter.
Mix in some flour until you have a frosting-like consistency (the amount of flour you should add varies).
When your cupcakes cool, top with the frosting. For extra fun you can add crushed dog bones to the top. Enjoy!
Our pets are just as important as the rest of the family and they should be treated that way. Pupcakes for everyody!
