Ditch the PSL and Make This Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee Instead

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at TCU chapter.

Pumpkin sp(iced) coffee is a fall fave. Make a big batch of coffee in the morn’ and you can utilize any leftovers for your midday pumpkin brew. Pumpkin is the epitome of fall and coffee is always relevant, so why not pair the two for a match made in heaven?

It’s a pick me up and a ’tis the season! When you’re cramming for finals or just want to mix up that basic iced coffee, pumpkin spice is the perfect game changer. For another festive idea, throw some pumpkin puree, caramel, and Cool Whip in to create a salted caramel pumpkin latte. Who doesn’t want the taste of fall in their mouth?

Make two cups of strong coffee. While still warm, stir 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice mix into the coffee.

Allow the coffee to cool to room temperature. The spices will settle to the bottom of the coffee.

Pour the coffee into a container with 1 cup of vanilla almond milk, being careful not to add the spices from the bottom of the coffee.

I think Jimmy Fallon and I would be good friends.
