How to Make Frosé, the Signature Drink of Summer Sixteen

Rosé has been the trendy warm-weather drink for a few years now, but this summer is the summer of the frosé. The best way to describe frosé is a rosé slushie, or as my mom put it, “like a frozen margarita, but wine.”

    Pour bottle of rosé into ice trays and let freeze overnight (or for at least 8 hours).

    Add sugar and water to a medium saucepan, bring to a boil and stir until all sugar has dissolved. Let cool.

    Squeeze lemons to make fresh lemon juice (I used 3 and had more than enough).

    Add rosé ice cubes, lemon juice, simple syrup and a scoop of ice cubes to a blender.
