As a Food News publication that’s consistently exposed to the wildest, most ooze-worthy food in existence, we at Foodbeast have been #blessed to see some pretty amazing burgers over the years. We’ve photographed them, written about them, and ultimately eaten our fair share them. We essentially take every chance we can to get our hands on them (as should you, if you know what’s good for ya), but something we’ve taken away from the numerous burger brigades is that something extra special happens when you actually cook them.
We know this, hopefully you know this, but if you don’t, you might want to consider joining in ConAgra’s #GreatAmericanCookIn Challenge, a month-long campaign encouraging Americans to stay at home and cook rather than turn to pricey take-out meals. If you need a reason, we’ve got the magic words: Thai. Peanut Sauce. Turkey Burgers.
Combining the wonders of peanut butter with ground turkey and key veggies brings undeniably delicious results. Taste for yourself by seeing the recipe below.
Thai Peanut Sauce Turkey Burger
Ingredients
Instructions
Combine Peter Pan peanut butter, soy sauce, orange juice, water, rice vinegar, minced garlic clove, and minced serrano chili and stir vigorously. Set aside for later.
Mix turkey with black pepper, shallot, mint, parsley, and lime juice. Form into four 6-ounce patties, then throw on a hot grill sprayed down with PAM Non-Stick Cooking Spray. Grill for four or five minutes on each side, or until meat is cooked through.
Grill the buns until slightly charred, then throw a burger patty on top, slathered in peanut sauce, and topped with jalapeno, butter lettuce, and radish.
