Whenever I’m going to a party, I always say “I’m bringing Kielbasa!” Knowing Kielbasa is Polish sausage, people look at me like I’m nuts, but they don’t have a clue what they’re in for. When I put the kielbasa out, it is gone in minutes.
I cook it a unique way to get this caramelized sizzle, which is a crowd pleaser every time. The secret? I cook it in Sprite.
Sizzlin’ Kielbasa

Slice a ring of Kielbasa like you would pepperoni, about a quarter inch thick.
Place your slices of kielbasa in a frying pan.
Ignite stovetop on high heat.
Pour a can of Sprite over the Kielbasa.
Adjust the heat to avoid splatter, allow the Kielbasa to cook in the Sprite, and stir occasionally. Sprite will caramelize about 25 minutes into cooking.
Depending how well done you like your meat, continue to stir.
Transfer to a dish and have at it with toothpicks.
