This Classic Margarita Uses Ingredients You Already Have in Your Kitchen

No Triple Sec, no problem. Margaritas don’t have to be complicated to be delicious or authentic. This recipe uses lime and orange juice to create a refreshing cocktail perfect for a party or pregame.

    Cut two of the limes in half and juice them.

    #SpoonTip: Save a slice of lime to garnish your glass.

    Quarter the other lime, and the orange half, then add them to a tall glass or cocktail shaker with the lime juice. If you have some agave, add it here.

    Muddle your ingredients with a cocktail muddler, or the end of a wooden spoon for at least a minute. Strain the mixture into a separate glass and throw away the fruit peels. Pour the mixture back into the mixing glass, and add the tequila and a handful of ice.

    Shake or stir the mixture for 30 seconds, then strain into a glass and enjoy.
