Hummus is a great vegan snack, but variety is the spice of life. As someone who is lactose intolerant, hummus is usually my go-to dip at parties, but it’s gotten a bit old. Not to mention, it’s not as healthy as one might think.

Many people think that being vegan means that you eat boring food with no variety, but that is simply not true. These delicious and creative alternatives to hummus will be loved by vegans and meat eaters alike.

Andrea loves food despite having a million and one allergies and can be found watching Food Network, adding poached eggs to everything, or looking for the next best brunch place. Sometimes she just wants food ordered off a menu (because who doesn't love options) and is a firm believer that everything is better with a glass of wine.
