Introducing the ultimate April Fool’s Day dessert: the kitty litter cake. Freak out your friends by offering them edible kitty turds and litter, the looks of shock and disgust never get old. The prank is only half the fun though, because this cake is indulgently sweet and totally worth eating. Make sure you buy a new scooper and litter box before serving. I cannot stress this enough.

Instructions
Prepare the cake mixes according to the baking directions on their packages.
Let the cakes cool to room temperature.
Prepare the pudding according to the package directions and let chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Crumble sandwich cookies using a food processor until they are finely crumbled.
Separate 1/4 of the sandwich cookie crumbs and add a few drops of green food coloring to them.
Mix the crumbs with food coloring until they are green and then set them aside.
After cakes have cooled, crumble them together into a large bowl.
Add half of the remaining cookie crumbs and enough chilled pudding to the crumbled cakes to make a moist mixture. Mix them together in a large bowl.
Scoop mixture into a lined (newly purchased) kitty litter box.
Heat tootsie rolls in microwave until they are soft and malleable. Form the tootsie rolls into kitty turd-like shapes.
Decorate the cake with remaining melted tootsie rolls, cookie crumbs, and green cookies crumbs.
Serve with a (newly purchased) pooper scooper.
