The Armory Show is an art show held annually at Chelsea Piers 92 & 94 in New York City. With over 200 galleries represented from all over the world, there’s hundreds of works of modern and contemporary art from artists of all levels of recognition. With that much art, there’s bound to be some food-related pieces, and there were. I’ve rounded up them all up for your viewing pleasure.
If you plan on going next year, don’t worry about getting too hungry looking at food-related art because there’s always a number of little pop-up cafés and bars throughout the show. This past show featured Breads Bakery Café, Pommery Champagne Bar, Hotel Americano, Grand Army Bar, Mile End Deli, and Canard.

Shih Chieh Huang’s Disphotic Zone was a surreal full-room installation that featured a giant anemone-like moving sculpture in the center of the room surrounded by water bottles hanging from the ceiling, lighting up and spinning with the use of tiny fans. Again, who said water isn’t artsy? Pt. III.
