Need another way to satisfy your chicken and waffle craving? Behold, chicken poppers in a waffle cone. Perfectly baked and breaded nuggets combined with a sweet waffle cone and dribbling maple syrup has to be one of the best ways to enjoy this flavor to date. Not to mention that it is also portable and fun to eat.

So what’s the hold up? This glorious, savory and sweet combo is sure to blow you away.

Waffle Cone Chicken Poppers

    Set oven to 400℉. Cut chicken into bite sized pieces, about 1 ½ inches.

    Combine bread crumbs, cheese, salt, thyme, and basil in a bowl. In a separate bowl, pour the melted butter in to be used for dipping.

    To coat the chicken pieces, dip into the butter mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs. The place on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

    Remove from oven. Place as many pieces of chicken as you would like inside of a waffle cone. Drizzle with maple syrup.
