Yo, it’s Brooke. And you’re watching Disney Channel.
JK, it’s a new 5 O’Clock Fridays (#5OF) and a lifelong dream of mine has finally come to life: spicy jello shots. And to make it even more badass, I poured it into a pepper so I could chew down the goodness instead of slurping it whole (#tbt to my college days). These are arguably the easiest thing you can make, they taste damn good, and look hella impressive. Eat and drink up, Spoonies. This one’s worth it. Cheerz.
Sriracha Jello Shots
Ingredients
Instructions
Pour jello mix into a bowl.
#SpoonTip: Don’t snort it.
Pour in almost your entire cup of hot water.
#SpoonTip: The rest of the liquid will come from your lime, yo.
Squeeze in juice from half your lime.
Plop in that ‘racha.
Whisk it. Into shape.
Pour in dat tequila.
Whisk it again.
#SpoonTip: Do it one-handed so you can turn up simultaneously.
Lay out your halved peppas on a plate (hopefully provided by Raquel).
Spoon in some jello into each pepper half. It’s messy, but it’s chill.
#SpoonTip: Try angling the ends of your peppers on the edge of the plate so the liquid doesn’t spill out as much.
Put it in the fridge and let them set for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Take ’em out. Admire their beauty. Give ’em a lick.
Lick your hand, put some salt on it. Then eat that jello shot like a boss. No lime required.
Whoa. Dat was good.
