These ice box cookies take the crunchy goodness of cookies, the chocolatey-awesomeness that is Nutella, and the literal coolness of Cool Whip, and combine them all into a beautiful dessert guaranteed to satisfy any sweet cravings.

Beware — once you start consuming this dish, you may find difficulty stopping. I’m pretty sure I took one bite and then suddenly half of it was gone. It’s insanely satisfying to just take a spoon and nosh on this frozen masterpiece — a perfect end to a stressful day.

  1. Line an 8×8 baking pan with tin foil.

    Pour milk into measuring cup or glass.

    Dunk cookies individually into milk using tongs and place on bottom of pan.

    Once entire bottom of pan is covered by cookies, spread Nutella over them.

    Spread a layer of Cool Whip on top of Nutella.

    Dunk remaining cookies into milk and place them on top of Cool Whip layer.

    With remaining Cool Whip, spread over tops of cookies.

    Cover with plastic wrap.

  9. Freeze for 3-4 hours depending on how cold you want them.

    #SpoonTip: For a less frozen treat, place in refrigerator for 3 hours.

    Remove from freezer and pour leftover melted Nutella over the top. Crush remaining cookies and sprinkle on top.
