Many months ago, when I was but a young and naive high school student, I took a tour of Colgate. I was amazed and impressed by everything: the campus, the professors, the students, the courses. But there was something else about Colgate, something that really and truly set it apart from every other school that I visited over the course of my junior and senior years. And that thing, was the Chipwich.
Yes, at my school, it is tradition that at the end of the tour every prospective student and his or her respective family is given a deliciously decadent chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich, fresh from the local Byrne Dairy. I devoured my post-tour Chipwich in June of 2014, and I never looked back.
And so, in the spirit of this month’s Colgate Day, November 13, I decided that I should share some mouthwateringly creative spins on the ice cream delicacy that all of us here at Colgate know and love.
