Where to Get Unconventional Brunch in London

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at St Andrews chapter.

There’s next to nothing that London doesn’t offer. It’s a city bursting at the seams with quaint coffee shops, expansive parks, trendy bars, late night food, and so, so much more. However, while there’s little to complain about in the way of options for both sober and alcohol-fueled activities, the latter often leave us feeling lifeless the next morning.

Waking up hungover and regretful calls for one thing, and one thing only: brunch. If you’re unenthusiastic about the idea of ordering French toast, eggs Benedict, or granola for the 5th time this month, check out these offbeat London brunch spots that are sure to change the brunch game for good:

Pachamama

If the idea of Peruvian food leaves you feeling lost, head to Pachamama for a modern, British twist on traditional Andean dishes. Expect contemporary versions of your favorite signature brunch dishes, such as quinoa waffles with bacon infused syrup and beef ridge short rib with Peruvian kimchi.

Flesh & Buns

This Asian-style brunch will surely live up to all of your expectations and more. Did we mention they have an insane £49 bottomless brunch that includes cocktail on arrival, chips, dips, and edamame, unlimited hot and cold dishes, signature flesh and buns, unlimited prosecco, white wine, or red wine, and a dessert for the table? Well, yeah, they do… and you would be crazy not to try it.

Lima Floral

With the emergence of not just one, but two Peruvian brunch destinations, you would clearly be missing out if you didn’t try one. If you’re still not convinced, their suckling pig brioche bun might do the trick.

This Bombay-inspired brunch will leave you wondering why you don’t have Indian for breakfast more often.
