These Are The Unique Fall Latte Flavors You Need To Try

There’s nothing like a fall study session at a coffee shop, but let’s be honest — most coffee shops don’t dare to stray away from the tried and true pumpkin spice latte and basic iced coffee flavors.

If you’re looking for a more unique take on a fall drink, here are five of my favorite fall latte recipes found on TikTok that go beyond the typical caffeinated drink flavor. And the best part about these recipes? You can make them on your own within the comfort of your own home.

Cinnamon Roll Float Latte

A user named Madeline on TikTok (@madelinerwojcik) posted her recipe for a cinnamon roll float latte after being inspired by the original latte from The Nitro Bar, a popular East Coast coffee shop.

The cinnamon roll flavor is compacted into a cinnamon roll syrup that she makes using regular sugar and brown sugar, water, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla bean paste, cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt.

Madeline uses an espresso machine to make her latte, but if you don’t have a machine, you can either use instant espresso or try to tweak the ratio of milk to coffee to use regular iced coffee as your source of caffeine.

The “float” part of the latte is a cream top made with heavy cream, whole milk, the cinnamon roll syrup, and a dash of extra cinnamon.

Put it all together, and you have one delicious homemade cinnamon roll float iced latte. The cinnamon roll syrup can be stored for up to a month in the fridge after being made, according to a comment from the creator, so you can make this drink recipe whenever you’re craving it this fall with ease.

Salted Maple Pumpkin Latte

Salted drinks are all the rage online lately, and this salted maple pumpkin latte is combining two of fall’s most beloved flavors and fusing them together in a delicious latte mashup. This latte flavor, posted by Lacey on TikTok (@laceyglasley), advertises a drink free of espresso machine and coffee syrup obligations.

@laceyglasley

Just a few ingredients, nothing fancy… and then you have this absolutely delicious fall latte 😋 Salted Maple Pumpkin Latte (16oz drink): • 2 tsp instant espresso + 2oz water (or double shot of espresso) • 1 tsp maple syrup • Pinch of flakey sea salt • Ice • Splash (about 2oz) of pumpkin spice creamer • 3-4oz milk Enjoy! #coffeetok #coffeeathome #instantespresso #icedlatte #recipe

The recipe starts with instant espresso, maple syrup, and a pinch of sea salt getting foamed together with water. Once it’s all foamed together, just add some pumpkin spice creamer — Lacey uses the Chobani creamer — and a few ounces of milk to round it out. Voila, your salted maple pumpkin latte is ready.

Pumpkin Teddy Graham Latte

This latte takes the pumpkin spice latte flavor one step further by adding in a Teddy Graham flavor. Posted by Ashley on TikTok (@ashelyeeubank), the original recipe uses an espresso machine, but again, you can swap in instant espresso or iced coffee to make it your own.

Ashley brews a double shot of espresso over honey, brown sugar, a pinch of salt, and a dash of cinnamon and dissolves them all together.

She then makes a cold foam with heavy cream, pumpkin puree, milk, sweetened condensed milk, and pumpkin pie spice.

To build the latte, she adds her espresso, milk, and ice into a cup, then tops the drink with a thick layer of the pumpkin cold foam.

“Tastes like it came straight from a coffee shop and it didn’t cost $8,” she said.

Caramel Apple Latte

To make this latte posted by coffee creator @what.erica.eats on TikTok, start by making caramel apple syrup, which is the base of every component of the latte itself. The syrup contains sugar, water, finely diced apples, butter, vanilla bean paste, salt, and heavy cream, which all simmers together to make a delicious caramel apple syrup.

🍏🍂Caramel Apple Syrup I wanted a caramel apple syrup that actually tasted like caramel, so I made an apple syrup first and then combined it with a true caramelized sugar base. The result is buttery, rich, and full of caramelized apple flavor, perfect for fall lattes. ☕️🍏 Apple Syrup • ⅔ cup granulated sugar • ½ cup water • 2 small Honeycrisp or Granny Smith apples, finely diced • 1 tbsp butter • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste • ¼ tsp salt • 1 tbsp heavy cream • 1 tsp lemon juice Make the apple syrup: Add the apples, sugar, and butter to a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring often, until the apples soften and the sugar begins to caramelize. Slowly add the water, it will bubble up, so pour carefully. Simmer for another 8–10 minutes. Remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing the apples well to extract all the syrup. Stir in the vanilla, salt, heavy cream, and lemon juice. Blend with an immersion blender until smooth. Let cool completely. Turn it into caramel apple syrup: Add ½ cup granulated sugar to a clean saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the sugar melts and reaches a deep amber color, being careful not to burn it. Slowly pour in the prepared apple syrup. It will bubble vigorously, so add it carefully. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring until the caramel is completely incorporated. Let cool completely, then refrigerate. It will thicken as it chills. Add it to an iced latte, drizzle it over cold foam, or use it in your favorite fall coffee. 🍎☕️ #caramelapples #coffeesyrups #caramel #homemade #fallrecipes

For the cold foam, mix together caramel apple syrup, heavy cream, and milk — a simple topping that makes all the difference.

Add some caramel apple syrup along the inside of the cup for extra fall flavor before you assemble your latte.

French Toast Latte

Last and certainly not least, this French toast latte by Lakeasha Kimberly on TikTok (@lakeashakimberly) is probably the simplest recipe of the bunch.

Lakeasha combines brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to brew her coffee over using her Nespresso machine.

While the coffee is brewing, she froths together a quick cold foam using heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla bean paste, and maple syrup.

Add ice, the espresso mixture, your milk of choice, and the cold foam, and you’ve just built a French toast latte that’s sure to get you out of bed for the perfect start to your fall morning.
