10 Dirty Soda Recipes To Make At Home

If dirty sodas keep popping up on your feed, then you’re not alone. The dirty soda craze has continued to thrive on the internet as people mix every kind of soda available with all kinds of add-ins, from milk products like coffee creamers and protein shakes to flavored syrups and fresh fruits. Forget countertop coffee bars. Dirty soda bars, complete with rows of syrups, are where it’s at. Whether you’re a die-hard Diet Coke or Dr. Pepper fan (any root beer fans out there?), or you’re more partial to a fruity soda like Fanta or Sprite, there’s something for you. The trend is evolving too, as people add things like marshmallow fluff or substitute energy drinks like Alani or Bloom for actual soda.

Dedicated dirty soda shops, including chains like Swig and Fiiz as well as individual pop up shops, have risen to popularity across the country, though mostly in the Midwest. Regular chains like Sonic have gotten in on the trend too, adding “dirty” options to their menus. But unfortunately, they’re not yet widespread enough for us all to have one. The East Coast in particular seems to be lacking in dirty soda shop options. But if you do happen to be one of the unlucky ones, don’t fret. Thanks to TikTok, you can become your own soda shop barista and whip up your own dirty sodas. If you have crushed ice on hand, and ideally an aesthetic cup to make your dirty soda in, then any of these dirty soda recipes will work for you.

1. Tropical Dr. Pepper
