The Most Basic Passover Charoset

Putting together a Passover Seder for the first time can be a daunting task, especially when you are trying to feed and satisfy people who are being deprived of chametz for a whole eight days.

This simple, fast and beginner-level charoset recipe will remind you of Passover at your Bubbe’s and will keep you and your guests coming back for more.

Serving Size: 3-4 cups

Ingredients:

3 large apples
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon of Manischewitz Concord Grape Kosher for Passover wine (or other sweet Kosher for Passover wine)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon honey

Directions:

1. Wash, peel and dice your apples.

2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and make sure that they are well mixed together.
